Ingredients:
- 8 oz pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta until it is al dente
Remove the water and set it aside
Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-high heat
Add the chicken slices to the pan and season them with salt and pepper
About 5 to 6 minutes on each side until browned and done
Put minced garlic in the pan and cook for one to two minutes, until the garlic smells good
Add the lemon juice and zest and stir it in
Scrape the bottom of the pan to get rid of any brown bits
Keep cooking for one more minute
Toss the cooked pasta in the garlic-lemon sauce after adding it to the pan
Add two to three more minutes of cooking time until everything is hot
Put chopped parsley on top of the chicken and pasta
Grate Parmesan cheese on top and serve hot
