Ingredients:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/4 cup coffee liqueur optional
- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions:
Put graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl and mix them together
Combine well
To make the crust, press the crumb mixture into the bottom of serving glasses or trifle dishes
Beat cream cheese until it's smooth in a large bowl
Beat in the vanilla extract and powdered sugar until everything is well mixed
Whip the heavy cream in a different bowl until stiff peaks form
Add the whipped cream slowly to the cream cheese mixture and mix well until it is smooth and creamy
When you're done, add the coffee liqueur and brewed coffee to the cream cheese mixture
Mix until everything is well combined
Spread the coffee cheesecake mousse on top of the graham cracker crust in the glasses
Put the trifles in the fridge for at least four hours, or until they are set
Add chocolate shavings or cocoa powder and whipped cream on top before serving
